
Neo Metrics is proud to have the finest team of professionals – economists, engineers and mathematicians – with solid professional and academic backgrounds both in the scientific and business enterprise fields.
The Neo Metrics team has reached many accomplishments, such as the first data mining system developed in Spain in 1995 and the first Spanish Social Network Analysis (SNA) solution for the business enterprise.
Flórez started his career in Data Mining research at the Universidad de Oviedo (University of Oviedo) and collaborated in the creation of the first data mining system in Spain. Since then, he has held several management positions in high profile companies in the Spanish IT and Banking sectors. His last position prior to starting his own company was CRM and Analytics Business Unit Manager at SAS Spain.
He teaches courses on Data Mining and CRM at ESIC Business School and has held faculty positions at EOI (Industrial Organization School).
He was educated at the Universidad de Oviedo, and owns a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from EOI and a Master’s Degree in Information Systems from the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña (Technical University of Catalonia).
José Luis is an experienced speaker and has won the SAS Best Speaker Award in 1999 for his conference titled "Data Mining for the Global Company Management".
Economist from the University of Oviedo with a master’s degree in statistics, and mathematics from PriceWaterhouseCoopers and EOI (School of Industrial Organization). He has a long professional career in the implementation of Analytic CRM systems: Data mining, campaign management and marketing automation, in financial, insurance and utilities companies.
Professor of CRM and business at ESIC Business School, Encina is a frequent speaker in business seminars.
Jorge Sueiras. Co-founder, partner and Director of Intelligence and Data Mining
Bachelor of Mathematics and Computer Engineering from the University of Oviedo. Sueiras has developed his professional career in the Analytic CRM field, and has focused most of his work on the implementation of this type of systems.
Before joining Neo Metrics, Jorge Sueiras worked as a senior consultant of business solutions at the SAS Institute, where he was responsible for CRM and campaign management projects in the main banks and utilities companies in Spain. He has a long experience as a professor, and nowadays teaches courses on CRM and campaign management at the ESIC Business School.
De la Rosa is responsible for project management, design and analysis of Analytic environment architectures and development of new applications. Before joining Neo Metrics, he was a senior consultant on Data Warehouse systems at the SAS Institute.
Technical engineer in Management Information Systems from the University of
Oviedo, de la Rosa holds a Master's degree in
Telecommunications from the same University and EOI (School of Industrial
Organization). He also holds postgraduate degrees
on Internet applications with Java and XML. Since 2002 he is a member of IEEE
(Institute of Electrical and Electronics
Engineers) and the Computer Society since 2002, where he is responsible for
computing and data mining.
